Recently retired actuary from NYC, overweight and out-of-shape, decides he would like to attempt a cross-country bicycle ride, from Seaside, OR to Brooklyn, NY.

Hi Walt,
This is Mary from Pierre. I'm so glad you have been able to update your posts. My mornings just weren't the same without having a Walt update. Wasn't sure if we needed to start worrying or not. I did check the AT&T coverage map after your comment and you are definitely entering the low or no coverage zone.
Looking forward to your visit to Pierre.
Walt - your colleagues in NY are in desperate need of your expertise. Suppose one were writing an actuarial report for a chain of stores called simply "Kip's". How would you make the possessive of Kip's? For example if you wanted to talk about the liaiblities of Kip's. So far the best suggestion seems to be Kip's' liabilities.
Waiting with bated breath,
Dana F and the NY Office
Hi Walt,
Just wanted to add to the Kip's post and note that this "best suggestion" is from Loic. That's right, without you around, we now take grammatical advice from the French.
Enjoying all the updates... keep up the great progress. And if your route happens to take you through Casselton, ND, be sure to check out the world's largest pile of oil cans.
